At Floorworld, we’ve always believed that our role goes far beyond supplying quality flooring. We’re part of something much bigger.
Local communities, neighbourhoods, and lives.
Since our beginnings, we’ve been deeply embedded in the places we operate. Each store is independently owned and run by locals who know their customers by name and are committed to making a difference where it matters most.
See what Floorworld is doing in the community.
One of the causes closest to our hearts is our partnership with the Pancare Foundation, Australia’s leading organisation supporting people affected by upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers.
This partnership, now in its fifth year, was born out of personal loss and a deep commitment to do something meaningful in its wake.
Billy Tsapatsaris, one of Floorworld’s founding members, and Glenn Jeffcoat, a much-loved and respected member, sadly passed away from Pancreatic cancer. These were men whose values, vision, and dedication helped shape the Floorworld we know today. Their passing wasn’t just felt in our organisation; it left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew them.
Partnering with Pancare became a way to honour their legacy. Since then, together with our customers, suppliers, and store teams, we’ve raised over $300,000 to help fund vital patient support, ground-breaking research, and cancer awareness campaigns.
Together with Pancare, Floorworld is passionate about standing beside families facing a difficult road, amplifying voices that often go unheard, and making a tangible difference in the fight against some of Australia’s toughest cancers.
Want to be part of that difference? Consider donating directly to the Pancare Foundation.
The event has raised substantial funds and established a robust network of support for those affected by cancer. But their support doesn’t stop there.

On her work with Pancare, Helen says:
“Losing friends and family to pancreatic cancer has fuelled my commitment to support Pancare and ensure no one goes through this journey alone. But community goes beyond illness—it’s about lifting each other up through sport, education, and compassion.”
In Tasmania, Devonport Floorworld champions the next generation through sport. Store owner Richard Beaumont has long believed in the power of grassroots programs to build resilience, confidence, and community spirit.

On local youth sports, Richard explains:
“Supporting junior sport gives kids a real shot—on and off the field. It teaches them teamwork, confidence, and resilience. And honestly, the whole community gains from that energy. We don’t just put our name on jerseys—we show up and get involved.”
In regional Victoria, Delta Floorworld Ballarat is bringing community support to life in both expected and extraordinary ways. Director Jake Forte doesn’t just sponsor local initiatives—he lives the ethos of service every day.
Delta Floorworld sponsorship includes:
But Jake's commitment extends far beyond the showroom floor.
As a volunteer firefighter with the CFA, he’s stepping up—literally—for a cause that hits close to home. This year, he’s taking on the Melbourne Firefighters Stair Climb, a gruelling event that raises funds and awareness for mental health, cancer, and trauma support services.

Jake’s passion for giving back is shared by his wife, Maddy Forte, who says it best:
“We support a community that supports us. Whether it’s through sport, the arts, or emergency services. At Delta Floorworld Ballarat, giving back isn't just a gesture–it's a way of life.”
For the third year running, Floorworld has been named a Finalist in the Australian Retail Innovators Awards. This honour recognises not just innovation in business but leadership in purpose-driven action.
In our case, it’s a direct reflection of our ongoing work with the Pancare Foundation and the community-first spirit at the heart of every store. It’s not about recognition—it’s about doing the right thing, and doing it well.
We just love being part of our local communities and supporting causes and organisations that we care about. Even if you're not in the mood for excellent floors, we just want to encourage everyone to go the extra mile and support the things you care about so that together, we can create a positive impact on the world around us.
